Michael Giacchino to score ‘The Batman’ & Steve NEEDS to be there
News broke over the weekend that our best friend, Michael Giacchino, is going to score The Batman. Director Matt Reeves himself appeared on stage during Michel’s show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Friday night, got down on one knee, professed his love for the composer (whom he has worked with already on Cloverfield, Let Me In, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes) and made it “official!”

Michael called us this morning from Italy to talk about the news, take a listen:
The entire Preston & Steve Show is over the moon for Michael’s new project, but one member is especially excited.
This is sensational! Michael, you're the perfect choice for this project and please allow me to save you the trouble and accept your sure-to-be-extended offer to have the Preston and Steve Show come broadcast from the studios when you score "The Batman."Hmmm! Was that too much?:) https://t.co/TnejBMpe3n

If you recall, Preston and Nick visited the studios in Los Angeles while Michael was scoring Spider-Man: Homecoming. Skipping that trip has become Steve’s biggest regret.
Michael, it's clear I might have gone off the rails on that initial tweet. It's possible I inadvertently screwed up your plans to present me with a fully functional Batmobile from "The Batman" and I apologize for robbing you of that joy.

I promise to act surprised, my friend! :) https://t.co/TnejBMpe3n
Since then, Michael has invited the show to come back and potentially even broadcast from his Hollywood-artifact-filled backyard.
Part 3. Michael .yes, I'm a huge Batman fan, but I had no right to exploit your friendship with the Preston and Steve Show to insinuate myself into your work on "The Batman." You're a better man than I for even suggesting you would get me a full scale, drivable Batmobile. https://t.co/TnejBMpe3n pic.twitter.com/yE2Yd59Mol

Steve Morrison has dedicated his life and Twitter page to making sure this trip happens.
Part 4. Michael, I just discovered the pilot light in my oven went out; I believe a gas leak might been partly responsible for my last 3 tweets.

I suppose a gas sensor aboard a fully drivable Batmobile would detect something like that, but I wouldn't even know where to get one. https://t.co/TnejBMpe3n
