Nancy Wilson and Pierre Hang via Studio Z
How cool to have Nancy Wilson of Heart chat with Pierre about her recently released solo album “You and Me”! The album is a mix of originals like the Eddie Van Halen tribute “4 Edward”, and covers like the single “Daughter” by Pearl Jam, Bruce’s “The Rising”, and “The Boxer” by Simon & Garfunkel that she got Sammy Hagar to help out on.
They touch on Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, other Seattle artists and her upcoming show with the Seattle Symphony at the Benaroya Hall in July (info here). She talks about how it felt playing the blistering version of Stairway in front of Led Zeppelin and the President of the United States at The Kennedy Center Honors.
Want to win a virtual ticket to stream the show? Listen to Pierre next week (6/14-6/18) when he gives away stream codes and a copy of Nancy’s new album.
