The British rock band has been a long-time favorite of WMMR. Most recently, The Struts released a new EP called Unplugged at EastWest. The live album features acoustic performances recorded at the well-known EastWest Studios in LA. There are four tracks included. You can hear the single “Fallin’ with Me,” covers of Michael Jackson‘s “Stranger in Moscow,” and Oasis‘ “Supersonic.” It also finally gives a full version to a song we’ve only heard a snippet of, “Pretty Vicious.” The full performance can be seen and heard on YouTube.
The Struts new dance-rock single called “Fallin’ With Me” came out August 19th. It was their first piece of new music since their signing with a new label in March of last year.
The band seems to be on an uptick of new music for us to enjoy. We have always loved their stuff. In recent years, The Struts have performed at the MMRBQ and in the Preston and Steve studio. They were last in Philly for a show in 2021 at The Mann. We can’t wait to hear what they have in store for us this year.
