WATCH: Eddie Vedder Joins Roger Waters For “Comfortably Numb”
Roger Waters’ “Us + Them” tour is already one of the hottest tickets this summer, and those at the Chicago show last night (July 23) were surprised by an extra-special guest during the encore.
Waters launched into the Pink Floyd classic “Comfortably Numb,” and as he approached the first chorus, Eddie Vedder stealthy made his way to the stage. It took a couple of lines into the chorus for the crowd to realize who was at the mic, but the performance was simply sublime.
Pearl Jam is current on a break from the road, while Vedder has a few solo dates scheduled for September. Waters, meanwhile, will be playing his next show on July 26 in St. Paul, Minn. with his “Us + Them” tour lasting through the end of October.
