Sharon Osbourne Shares Details on Ozzy’s Injuries
Ozzy Osbourne was forced to postpone all of his 2019 tour dates last week due to “…an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia,” and thanks to Sharon Osbourne, fans now know the extent of Ozzy’s injuries.
Sharon addressed her husband’s latest health issue on CBS’ The Talk and said that after Ozzy returned home after being in the hospital with pneumonia, he had fallen in the middle of the night.
“And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days,” said Sharon. “And what he’d done was he re-injured his back and neck and shoulders. And all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year of [tour] dates.”
Sharon would go on to say that Ozzy is doing fine health-wise, but he feels bad for letting the fans down and said, “He just feels terrible. He says it’s the only thing he’s ever done right in his life, his performing, and he just feels terrible.”

Sharon also cleared up some details stemming from an attack on son, Jack, last week at a coffee shop.
“He was in Studio City having his morning coffee, answering his emails, 9 o’clock in the morning and suddenly, bam, he got punched in the face,” said Sharon. “He didn’t see it coming… a homeless guy punched him in the face and a guy that Jack was with kicked him in the ribs. So, Jack followed him, called the police and then he pulled a screwdriver on the police. The police tased him and arrested him.”
Sharon continued, “And in the interim, a guy came up to Jack and said; ‘Why are you having him arrested? He’s homeless…’ and then said to Jack, ‘Oh, but I did see him attack two women last week.'”
Fortunately, Jack is also doing fine.
