Taylor mentioned back in May in an interview with Lzzy Hale that he had completed his first solo album while in quarantine.
“All the songs are things that I’ve written over the years but they didn’t really fit with either band,” said Taylor. “So, it’s stuff that I’ve just kind of been sitting on. I’ve been kind of talking about doing a solo album anyway, and I was just, like, ‘This is the perfect time to do it.'”
In total, Taylor said he has about 25 songs recorded, and he laid down all of those track in about two-and-a-half weeks.
