Ranking NFL Tailgates: Find Out Where The Eagles Place

A new report from Betway has been released, ranking NFL tailgates across the US based on popularity. Tailgates are the backbone of football fandom. What’s better than sitting back  and cracking open a cold one with your pals before a big game? And in a parking lot, no less. It’s the epitome of a great sports experience.

If you know Philly, you know how epic a tailgate at or near the Linc can be.

I mean look.

We have the best tailgates in the NFL, right? NO?! According to Betway it’s a hard no.

Thanks to the utilization of something called “social listening,” the new report is ranking NFL tailgates based on the number of positive posts on social media over the last year. Additionally, all team stadiums were analyzed based on factors such as stadium parking opening hours and the cost of tailgating essentials to reveal which is the best for tailgaters.

The number one NFL tailgate comes out of Buffalo. Okay, fair, so the Eagles are at number two right? NO?!

The ranking is as follows:

  1. Buffalo Bills
  2. Cincinnati Bengals
  3. New England Patriots
  4. New York Giants (EW!)
  5. Minnesota Vikings
  6. Philadelphia Eagles

Wow, okay. That’s a lot to take in. At least the Cowboys don’t rank above us. Also, number 6 out of 32 NFL teams ain’t half bad! The reports shows that 145,504 social media pots have been made about Eagles tailgates. The positive sentiment towards our tailgates comes in at 17.6%. Hey, no one likes us, we don’t care, right?

Well guys, the Super Bowl is this Sunday…

Loads of Birds fans are making the trek to Arizona to cheer on the team. Let’s see if the Philly tailgate energy is brought out there. Speaking of the Super Bowl, where does our opponent’s tailgating experience rank? Chiefs fans rank way down the list at 16th place! What a relief. So when it comes to this match-up we win. And lets hope we win in ANOTHER way as well…*wink wink*
