‘Parks And Recreation’ To Reunite For One Episode
Tonight, Parks and Recreation fans got a nice surprise: Amy Poehler announced on the show’s Facebook page that the cast will reunite for a new episode next week.

Airing Thursday, April 30 at 8:30 p.m. on NBC, A Parks and Recreation Special will feature the main cast: Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir, and Retta. The 30-minute special’s story takes place in the present. According to NBC, “Pawnee’s most dedicated civil servant, Leslie Knope, is determined to stay connected to her friends in a time of social distancing.”
Entertainment Weekly reports that the special will raise funds for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund, which aids food banks across the nation serving vulnerable members of the community. $500,000 in matching donations will be made by State Farm, Subaru of America, NBCUniversal and the Parks writers, producers, and cast members.
