In August, 1969, sometime between the hours of 9am – 1am (when the Marconi Experiment aired), Bobby Dean of Newark, DE was listening to 93.3 FM when the DJ invited listeners to mail in a postcard to win a copy of the new Blind Faith album. So he did.
Three days later that same DJ was going to announce the winners. Bobby wanted to stay at home and listen, but his dad insisted on taking him out for dinner. It was Bobby’s birthday.
