Food Trucks & Fireworks Wows Us Once Again
The Food Trucks & Fireworks event returned to Preston & Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger for the second year and it totally rocked! It also lead the week for single night collections for Philabundance.
Presented by Five Below, the parking lot of Xfinity Live was transformed into a full-on festival, with a fire dancer, photo booth, giveaways and live music. Thanks to Snacktime, funky, high-energy brass music played throughout the night. I think we even caught Kathy dancing!
Further into the lot, there was a circle of 20 amazing food trucks selling their delicious treats. It was hard to pick what to eat. It all looked and smelled amazing. People were seen circling the trucks many times stumped on what to get.

The event was free to attend. Yes. FREE. Even the Skelly’s Amusement rides were running for guests at the event. The Preston & Steve Show gang hung around for the festivities and got the chance to chat and take pictures.
The party was topped off by Celebration Fireworks’ pyromusic show at 8pm. The surrounding area was lit up with beautiful colors and, believe it or not, FIREBALLS! The overwhelming review is that people have never seen a display like the one they saw at Food Trucks & Fireworks. One of those people is Preston Elliot, who missed the inaugural event!
We owe all of those who came a huge thank you! This event was a massive success thanks to all of the excited smiling faces we got to see and meet. Please support these the food trucks that made this happen – follow them on social media, visit them on the street or hire them for your next event!
