Did Jenn Frederick Make a Successful Cardboard Classic Run? You Decide.
This past weekend, Preston and Steve’s Cardboard Classic hit the slopes for the first time in three years. The event took place at Montage Mountain in Scranton, where FOX 29’s Jenn Fredrick had a weekend to remember.
On Friday morning, Jenn took to the snow with her own FOX 29 sled to test the conditions prior to the Classic’s start. Her single person sled was a simple white box with the FOX 29 logo on both sides. Frederick took to the slope in a climactic way. Her start was slower and gentle, with an eventual spin that left her gliding down the slope backwards.

About a quarter way through her slope trial, Jenn began spinning with more speed, leaving cheering spectators entertained. Her ride came to a screeching halt when she hit a snow bank and subsequently flipped her sled, hitting the snow with a smack heard around the world. It was the kind of crash that everyone slightly cringes to when they see it.
Alas, there was no need to worry- Frederick collected herself swiftly and continued her way down the slope successfully. Jenn took the failure in stride, and later posted a video to Instagram joking about the moment.
Jenn’s day did not end there, though. She continued her day by spending time with family and friends enjoying all that Montage Mountain had to offer. Jenn even had the opportunity to meet the members of Everclear. She took to Facebook to share the highlights of her exciting weekend up in Scranton. If there’s anyone we wanted to be like this weekend, it was FOX 29’s Jenn Frederick.
