FLASHBACK: Prince, ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ Live in Syracuse
Today would have been the 65th birthday of Prince, who is remembered for his innovative songwriting, but even more so for his supercharged live performances.
This particular cut encapsulates what “The Artist” was all about. It’s on the Prince and the Revolution: Live – Collector’s Edition Box Set, which was released last year, and it showcases a legendary 1985 performance in Syracuse. The group set the tone for an amazing show with “Let’s Go Crazy”. Take a dance break from work and watch it below. (If your boss looks at you funny, tell them Pierre Robert said it was okay.)
