Remembering Chris Squire of Yes
It was on this day (6/27) nine years ago that we sadly lost Chris Squire. The bassist and vocalist was one of the longest serving original members of progressive rock legends Yes.
He remained active in the band until his death, appearing on every studio album release from 1969 to 2014. It was in 2015 that he passed at the age of 67 after a battle with leukemia. He was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 as a member of Yes with a speech given by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush.
