Kelly Ripa Loves Wawa Buttered Rolls & the Camp Out for Hunger
Every year we look forward to talking to NJ native, Kelly Ripa, during the Camp Out for Hunger. It’s always a phone call, 20 – 30 minutes before she goes live from her New York studio and always one of the best conversations of the week.
The highlight of our chat this year? Wawa buttered rolls.
– Take a listen –
To our surprise, Kelly was the one to initiate the Wawa conversation. You see, before the interview we had sent over a few stats including the generous donation Wawa had made on Monday morning ($75,000 to Philabundance). Kelly was in awe of their generosity and wanted reiterate how helpful that donation would be to the organization. She also wanted mention how funny it was when her assistant tried to explain what “a Wawa” is.
Oh, and also to our surprise, Kelly & Ryan announced the 2017 Camp Out for Hunger totals on LIVE a few days later:

FREAKING OUT! Not just about this clip, but also every time we think about the overwhelming generosity of the MMR family. You helped us collect and donate over 2.2 million meals to Philabundance. (See all the totals HERE)
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
