Pennsylvania Has One of the Best Cities for Fast Food
It’s obvious that we Americans love our fast food. I mean, in many Pennsylvania cities, there’s a McDonald’s and Taco Bell on every corner. It’s a simple way to grab a dish when you’re in a pinch, and it’s simply delicious, albeit not always very good for you.
So, which cities are best for satisfying hunger when you’re super busy? LawnStarter has put together a study comparing the 200 biggest U.S. cities to rank 2023’s Best Cities for Fast Food Lovers. “We looked for cities with access to plenty of fast-food establishments,” they say in the study. “We also considered affordability and quality, including Thrillist’s Fasties Awards.”
According to the study, the Sunshine State is apparently a big fan of fast food. “What better place to hold the fast-food crown than Burger King’s backyard?” they state. “Florida cities topped our ranking, with Orlando reigning supreme for the second year in a row. Miami (No. 3) might not have the most affordable or highest-rated fast food, but it has the most fast-food establishments per square mile of all the cities we ranked. Such easy access to fast food was enough to push Miami to third place overall. Orlando, however, comes out on top with the highest-quality to-go meals. O-Town has the most Fasties Award-winning food brands, too, followed by Tampa, which is tied for the No. 2 spot.”
So, which Pennsylvania city is one of the best for fast food lovers in America? Philadelphia. We’re No. 6 on the list with an overall score of 58.79. No. 1 on the list is Orlando, Florida, followed by New York, New York; Miami, Florida; San Francisco, California; and Chicago, Illinois. Find the full list here.
