Top 8 Personal Assistant Moments from Gary Lauer
What do you get a busy man for his birthday? Gary Lauer as a Personal Assistant.
Happy birthday, Bill Weston! We hope you enjoyed your present.
Once Gary had his own stationary & business cards he became an official MMR paper pusher…
- Gary listened carefully while transcribing Bill’s e-mails…even though he didn’t have a working keyboard…or computer.

- He screened all of Bill’s calls so that absolutely no one – even very important, scheduled calls – got through to bother the Birthday boy.
- A great Assistant will always stay on-top of his boss’ scheduling needs and Gary took that literally.
- Gary made sure all of Bill’s copying needs were met with a personal touch.
- When Bill was busy, Gary was proactive in learning about sales with Bill Burns.
- Gary was quick to deliver news articles with a cheery disposition and a loud “Hello, Preston Elliot!”
- He made sure his boss had his morning cup of Joe to get his Jam going.
- Unfortunately Bill was not pleased when Gary decided to schedule a meeting with the staff.
Hope you enjoyed your birthday, Bill! We did our best to celebrate your 60th because we will never be able to top your 50th birthday gift….
UPDATE: Gary has been given a half day and will be relieved of his duties at noon. He may not have been a successful personal assistant, but at least he can fall back on his modeling skills. This can never be unseen:
