The Annual Christmas in July Toy Run – benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children
21 years, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash donations and thousands of toys donated – it’s that time of year again, the 21st annual Christmas in July Toy Run to Shriners Hospital!
The event is Sunday, July 30th. As usual, hundreds of motorcyclists will ride to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The bikers will deliver toys for Santa, and Santa himself leads the ride, and hands out toys to all the patiently waiting kids. It’s a great day, but they can’t do it without your help.
It’s a motorcycle ride, but just because someone doesn’t ride doesn’t mean you can’t be there! Toys, and all donations, go to the hospital, and there’s plenty to do before and after the ride, both at breakfast and the after party, and it all goes to the kids! Breakfast is served at the Philadelphia Police Academy between 8:30A and 10:30A, 8501 State Road Riders leave for the hospital at 11am.
There’s an after party at The Ukrainian Club, 847 N. Franklin Street, from noon until 4.
All money raised goes to Shriners Hospital.
$20 per rider/$30 per couple, and a new, unwrapped toy (No stuffed animals!)
Thanks to our buddy Joe “Noodles” Mason for coming in to chat with us about the ride!
About to head into @PrestonSteve933 to talk about the toy run!
