Chris Long called in this morning. We were his warm up for Ellen, take a listen:
Are you ready for some… charity? A quick glimpse at Philadelphia Eagles’ Chris Long season off the field:
September: Chris Long donates his first six game checks of the season to fund a pair of seven-year scholarships to middle school students in his hometown of Charlottesville, Va
October: Long & wife Megan commit next 10 game checks to launch “Pledge 10 for Tomorrow” initiative devoted to educational equality in the three cities in which he’s played football.
- Fans are encouraged join by “pledging what you can for our last 10 games. If you can’t pledge for 10 weeks, simply donate $10.”
November: Inspired by his commitment to education & the community and his love of live music, the Defensive End teams up Live Nation Philadelphia. Net proceeds from the A Perfect Circle concert (11/7 at BB&T Pavilion) will go directly to the Pledge 10 for Tomorrow charity.
