Nirvana Releases Remastered Videos from ‘MTV Unplugged’ to YouTube
Nirvana is one of many artists remastering older videos and releasing them to YouTube.
Within the past month, six videos from the band’s landmark performance on MTV Unplugged has received a much-needed 4k upgrade and are embedded below.
Nirvana: MTV Unplugged in New York, the live album recorded and released from this set, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. The album came out seven months after the shocking death of Kurt Cobain and would go on to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart and win a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.
