5 Tips for the Live In Drive In Shows at Citizens Bank Park
We attended the first show of the Live In Drive In series and it was incredible! Here’s a few tips that we wanted to pass along:
Pick up trucks, Jeeps and convertibles are the envy of the lot. If you have access to an open air, Live Nation approved vehicle, throw some cushions in the bed and make it a mini tailgate.
Pack sweatshirts & blankets. We’re so used to sweltering summer days, that we have forgotten about cool, August nights. This is your reminder.
Bring a Bluetooth speaker. The entire show airs over a special FM radio frequency, there are no speakers. You can listen over your car radio, but if you have a personal speaker bring that and download a tuner app for best sound experience.
Snacks! Food is available for purchase on site and the ordering process is kind of cool: scan the QR code you’re handed at check in, enter your parking spot number and it’s delivered via golf cart shortly thereafter. You are also welcome to pack your own food and drink.
There are plenty of restrooms. These events are very well organized: from getting in line to getting parked they make it super easy. There screens set up all over the lot, plus plenty of port-o-potties and staff roaming around to help you out.
Final thought is basic but worth pointing out: follow the rules and you’ll have a great time! Check out the full guidelines to ensure your have the best experience: Phillies.com/DriveIn
