The Camp Out For Hunger has new champions. There was a new best dressed guest of the week. Our first ride with the mustache. And a Mini Hoop Medalist.
On Day #2, former Sixer and current Sixers analyst, Marc Jackson stopped by looker dapper as ever. His conversation was filled with a wealth of encouraging words for the people of Philadelphia. Our long time co-worker and fellow Radio Hall Of Famer, John DeBella experienced his first ever Camp Out For Hunger. He was always working at the same time that we are on the air, but his recent retirement gave him a little free time to spend with us.
The highlight of the day was the introduction of Mini Hoops Madness. It’s a new take on the City 6 Challenge. We brought in 5 sportscasters to compete against each other for bragging rights, a sick championship belt and $5,000 donated to Camp Out For Hunger in their name by Victory Brewing. It got a little vicious. But all for a good cause!
