How Would Brandon Marsh Do As A Price Is Right Contestant?
The Phillies look like they’re having fun, and Brandon Marsh is leading the charge. From dumping water cups full of gum onto teammates to new fan groups forming in the upper deck. And we’re here for every moment of it.
So is Brandon Marsh. We had not talked since Spring Training. It was there where the Phillies Right Fielder and Casey Boy bonded over their mutual hatred of sharks. We also learned about the odd hair care rituals and the love of Philadelphia fans.
Now he has his own subset. We brought up Marsh’s Marshmallows, and Brandon recalled the first time that he noticed them at a game. “I look up in the top right, where Jean’s Jeans used to be, and… I see a bunch of marshmallow heads… and I’m like… hold on!”
Jean’s Jeans were a group of Jean Segura fans who showed up in head-to-toe denim. Similar in their fandom, but very different in their look, Marsh’s Marshmallows wear white cylindrical masks popularized by the DJ, Marshmello.
The conversation with Brandon today was a like a build your own adventure. We talked about the celebratory water pours that he notoriously does after each win. Turns out Bryson Stott is much more creative when it comes to the ingredients that he adds to the cup. Brandon is more concerned ninja like skill it takes to sneak up teammates. “You can’t let them hear the cleats hit the dirt beneath you. You have to tiptoe.”
More fun was had last week in Williamsport for Little League World Series. Brandon was lucky enought to play in the 2021 with the Angels. This year was extra special joining the Nationals to cheer on the Media Little League team.
We had to know what was up with the team chipping golf balls off Homeplate. Turns out it was a team bonding event to determine a Fantasy Football draft order. The team has a lot of golfers and this was much more fun than picking numbers out of a hat. How did Brandon do compared to his teammates? Click the interview below to find out!
Before we wrapped the interview, we asked is Brandon Marsh is a fan of The Price is Right. He never really watched the show, but he is competitive. So we challenged the Phil to a pricing game. The results were hilarious.
