Celebrate ‘Giving Tuesday’ with Shinedown’s ‘Library Sessions’
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are officially in the rearview mirror. With the holiday season inching closer, we celebrate ‘Giving Tuesday’ today. The concept behind ‘Giving Tuesday’ is a movement to unleash the power of radical generosity around the world.
Shinedown is celebrating ‘Giving Tuesday’ by presenting ‘The Library Sessions’. Inspired by their smash hit song “A Symptom of Being Human”, off their 2022 album Planet Zero, Shinedown will be performing a few songs acoustically and stripped down via their YouTube channel. This special broadcast event will benefit the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). It is near and dear and very important to the members of Shinedown.
You can go to Library.Shinedown.com to share and submit a story from your life about ‘being human’, for a chance to be featured during this special live broadcast. While you’re on the site, make sure to read the other touching and incredible stories. Because sharing stories reminds us that we are not alone.
‘The Library Sessions’ premiere’s today (11/28) at 12pm on the east coast and 9am on the west coast via Shinedown’s YouTube channel.
If you get a chance, check out all of the great charitable organizations Shinedown is involved with. This includes St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, DC Strong (support for children battling cancer), Backline Care (mental health and wellness resources for the music industry), and also much more by going to Shinedown.com/ShinedownShares
