Nick Murphy Made a Comic Book for Kids!
Executive Video Producer of The Preston & Steve show, Nick Murphy along with his producing partner & Continue? show co-host, Paul Ritchey, wrote a kids comic book and it’s available now!
It’s called Cosmic Pizza Party and it’s about the crew of an intergalactic food truck delivering pizza around the galaxy. Imagine Guardians of The Galaxy meets “SpongeBob.”
The series is written for kids 6-9 yrs old (Nick’s 5yr old son really digs it!) and currently available on the kids reading app, Epic!. If you’re not familiar with Epic, it makes thousands of books available digitally to kids and is free for teachers and librarians. (getepic.com/educators) There will be a print version sometime next year once all five issues are released.
The coolest part is they did an audio-read-along version. They added some music and sound effects, and the words animate to help kids learn to read. Download Epic! to check it out now!
