Sunrises Around the World Are Being Effected by the West Coast Wildfires
The sunrise looks a lot different these days. It’s beautiful but frightening. Cecily Tynan explained why: The eerie haze in our skies this week is caused by western wildfires smoke hitching a ride on the jet stream and moving about 20,000 feet above our area. Since the particles are so high, there’s little effect on air quality at ground level.
