November 24th is Officially Pierre Robert Day in Philadelphia
It’s been declared! November 24th will forever be known as Pierre Robert Day in Philadelphia.
Councilman David Oh shared that exciting news this morning on MMR. He read from a resolution that City Council passed on behalf of the DJ who is celebrating his 40th year on the air at 93.3 WMMR. But, that is not the only honor Pierre received today.
The live, on air ceremony began with City Representative Sheila Hess recognizing Pierre for his passion and dedication to the city. She touched on everything from his charitable efforts in the community with organizations like Project H.O.M.E. and the AIDS Walk to his lengthy concert resume.
