Two MMRBQ Bands Released New Albums This Week
MMRBQ will be here before you know it, and we’ve been cranking the catalogs of the bands on the 2024 lineup. This week, two new albums were added to the mix.
When is MMRBQ 2024?
Our annual all-day rock fest is happening on Saturday, September 21st this year. We’ll descend upon Freedom Mortgage Pavilion with the entire WMMR for a giant party across two stages: the Main Stage, and the Preston and Steve Side Stage.
On the Main Stage, we’ll see the Offspring, Halestorm, Nothing More, and the Warning – and that’s just one half of the day. The General Admission portion of the fest will have P.O.D., Silvertide, Sleep Theory and Jersey Calling.
Over at the Preston and Steve Side Stage, there will be live band karaoke (featuring YOU on vocals), Jacky Bam Bam as your DJ, and lots more shenanigans. As always, WMMR will be broadcasting live from Camden all day!
Which bands just released new albums?
Today (6/28) two of the bands on the lineup put out new LPs. Nothing More have unleashed Carnal, their seventh studio effort, which features the single “If It Doesn’t Hurt.”
The Warning also put out an album today: Keep Me Fed is the fourth full-length release from the Villarreal Vélez sisters. “S!CK” is a hit that we’ll surely hear on stage on September 21st.
What other new songs are out there?
There’s a bunch of songs we’ll be hearing live for the very first time at MMRBQ 2024! The Offspring announced that their album Supercharged will arrive a few weeks after the show, but in the meantime we’re blasting the lead track “Make It All Right.” Halestorm teamed up with I Prevail for the collab track “Can U See Me In The Dark.” Both tracks premiered on Pierre Robert‘s show earlier this month.
P.O.D. just put out an album as well. Veritas features guest spots by members of Lamb Of God, Jinjer and Saosin.
