Whether you are looking to kick back with a cocktail, check in on a friend, fill that lonely void or host a game night, here are a list of apps that will help you get connected:
Facetime: The classic. A group Facetime call can host up to 30 friends, all visible at once. During conversations the bubble of the person who is talking will enlarge.
Skype: The OG. The latest update double the number of participants from 25 to 50 to encourage more small companies to utilize this free Microsoft program. Which means this program is jonesing to host your party.
House Party: The name says it all. This “face to face social network” was created in 2016, allows up to 8 users per call and works on all mobile and desktop platforms.

Dig deeper into these apps and you’ll be able to build your own games with no programming knowledge required.
#hobbystreak day 3: our regular #boardgame night was canceled because of #coronavirus. But we’ve found a great alternative with @TabletopiaGames and playing Everdell on that platform. Great! pic.twitter.com/aY0QQSom2d
