Local Pizza Shop Accidently Sends Out Ad with “Barry Wood” Latte Art
Chiaro’s Pizza has three locations, two in Montgomery County and one in Bucks County. Their slug line is Love At First Bite.
The Community Connection Monthly is a direct mailer magazine full of local community businesses, coupons, community events, stories, and contests.
Both have had a big 72 hours.
In past issues of CCM, Chiaro’s has run ads with photos of pizzas or deserts. This month, the ad included a barista making a cappuccino…. and a not-so-little something extra. Anyone who examines the latte art for more than 2 seconds will realize that’s no foam rosetta. That’s a big – – – -.
More specifically, it’s the photo of Wardy Joubert III that went viral during quarantine. TikTok user Josh_Fell shared image:

All of the businesses involved I are mortified. During a discussion about the inappropriate misprint on The Preston & Steve Show, the daughter of the printer called in. She told the morning show hosts that no one saw the discreetly placed viral photo in the cup.
The staff at Chiaro’s posted a statement saying that they “pride ourselves on being a family oriented pizzeria and restaurant. This is a devastating situation for all of us involved as we are sure it has been for all of you. Please accept our sincerest apologies.”
Although mortifying, we have been able to find the humor in the situation. If you are in the mood for pizza this week, please consider ordering from Chiaro’s soon to show your support for the small business.
