“Always Sunny In Philadelphia” Renewed for Four More Seasons
Four more seasons! Four more seasons!
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” was renewed through its eighteenth season. FX/FXX chairman John Landgraf delivered the good news Thursday during Walt Disney Company’s Investor Day which also gave us a myriad of Star Wars and Marvel announcements.
This officially makes our favorite misfits the longest-running live-action comedy of all time. The previous record holder was “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” which ran for 14 seasons. During a Camp Out For Hunger interview, Kaitlin told us that her sons loves to point out that “The Simpsons” has been running a lot longer (currently in Season 32.)
In fact, Rob and Kaitlin both said that night that “Sunny” news was coming, but they couldn’t say anything yet. That interview is here, we promise the audio gets better after the few minutes:
